Use Pencil

Years ago I heard a pastor encourage theologians to "use pencil" when discussing difficult theological matters. I have always loved the phrase in describing what I think to be a healthy attitude towards theology. God is great, His answers are true, we can know them, but we should always remain humble that He can show us more.
